Balance of Reliability and Progress

SBI is a Kazakhstani investment company founded in 2003, licensed by the National Bank of Kazakhstan. The company provides brokerage services, asset management, capital raising through stocks and bonds, and implements algorithmic investment strategies.

A comprehensive overhaul of the company's brand and digital products. A new visual identity — logo, colors, typography, patterns, and a mini brand book. And the centerpiece — a mobile investment app integrated with local and global exchanges in real time.

On the development side, we built an architecture capable of handling high loads: the server processes up to 1,200 requests per second on Yandex Cloud infrastructure. We implemented direct integration with Kazakhstani exchanges KASE and AIX via the FIX protocol, and connected global markets — NASDAQ, NYSE, and European exchanges — through the Ingenium partner API. Users gained access to stocks, bonds, currencies, and repo instruments within a single interface. We also engineered the portfolio logic: yield calculations using financial formulas that account for dividends, commissions, and currency fluctuations. Real-time trade monitoring, expert investment ideas, and push notifications were all built into the product. Alongside the development work, we created a new brand identity and adapted presentation materials for an audience of high-net-worth investors.

SBI received a modern, professional brand and a fully functional mobile app that competes with leading brokerage platforms. Process automation simplified the experience for both clients and the internal SBI team. The infrastructure is ready to scale from 2,000 to 40,000+ active users.
