LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) is an information system for managing laboratory workflows and requests, designed to automate the work of researchers, administrators, and staff.

To build a reliable and scalable platform that simplifies request management, ensures secure access control, guarantees data integrity, and enables seamless collaboration between all process participants.

We developed the system on NestJS with authentication and role management, request and user profile handling, and full action audit logging. Key features included secure login, request approval workflows, data exchange with external services, autosave, reporting, and archiving. This provided modularity, scalability, and ease of use for all stakeholders.

The result was a secure and user-friendly system that significantly reduced request processing time and simplified the management of laboratory workflows. The platform became a solid foundation for scaling LIMS and adapting it to different laboratories and government agencies.
